Welcome to Great Cove Golf Club!

Nestled in the Hills of the Northern Appalachian Mountains, Great Cove Golf Club proudly presents its 18 Championship Holes that will please golfers at virtually every skill level. Our  golf facility offers year round golf, (weather permitting).

The Design:

The original nine holes at Great Cove that make up the front side, opened in 1965, and the back nine holes were built in the early 1990's. The front nine plays long, and makes for an enjoyable opening, while the back nine is tighter and more demanding on shot-making.

An Enjoyable Experience:

From the time you step out of your vehicle, you'll be awed by the breath taking views, and the beauty of your surroundings.

The opening hole at Great Cove is a majestic par four, measuring 465 yards from the professional tees. Sweeping from four sets of tees down to the fairway 70 feet below, it then rises 60 feet to a large undulating elevated green.

From here you will wind your way through through the front 9 where the long bombers can take advantage of some straight away greens.  Challenging and rewarding, each hole delights.

Don't forget to stop in our newly renovated clubhouse before you head out to the back 9.

Holes 10 and 11 follow a similar trend as the front 9 until length off the tee gives way to precision.  You can take advantage in the upcoming holes with a few well placed shots.  These holes give you a great opportunity to capture a birdie (or two!)

For you "long-ballers", how about an eagle? The 17th hole is rated the most difficult, as it requires both length and strategic placing of your drive. A par five of over 550 yards, the 17th will allow you to get ahead in your game, and a birdie here will possibly set you up for a win.

The final hole is a 460 yard par four. Here's one last chance to bomb your drive and get within reach of a mid iron shot to the large finishing green. The green is relatively flat, and provides a great chance for a birdie to end this memorable round.

As Great Cove's pledge is to treat every customer just like a member of a private club, you’ll feel welcomed by staff, and your day on the links will be one to remember.
